Audition Results

Thank you to those who auditioned for the 2008 Temecula Gospel Music and Arts Festival. We had an amazing turn out of truly talented singers and musicians, and it is with pleasure that we invite the following performers to join us on our shows. There are a number of categories that we were auditioning for, and if selected your name will appear under one of those categories, broken out by show. You will notice that some names are listed as soloists under certain shows. If you have been chosen as a soloist or band for a show, then you will need to select three possible songs from the Top 100 CCLI Song List, you can find that at http://www.praisecharts.com/ccli. Out of those three songs, our production team will decide which song will flow into the show best. Those three songs need to be emailed to us production@gospelfest08.org , with your name and show by Monday, August 25th. If you are unable to decide or would like advice in choosing the right song for you, please contact us at the same email above. If you would like to do an original song, you will need to email us a copy of the words and music, also a MP3 or digital page address that has a copy of a performance by your group, of that specific song. The Production team reserves the right to decline the song. The song you select needs to be emailed to us production@gospelfest08.org , with your name and show by Monday, August 25th We are forming several ensemble groups and choirs from the performers who auditioned for us. If you have been selected to perform in one of those categories, your name will be listed under the name of the group or choir. You will be contacted by one of our music directors within the next few days. At that time they will let you know the song and makeup of the group we have selected you for. Remember, if you are a band that has been selected to sing, there will be one backline for the show. We will have a house drum kit, you are allowed to being your own snare. There will be a piano and a keyboard available. Any guitars and bass requiring amps will need to plug into our house backline. One last thing, there is a mandatory ALL CAST and CHOIR meeting on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 7pm at New Covenant Fellowship in Murrieta. If you can’t attend this meeting, you will need to let us know. Please email us at production@gospelfest08.org. Choirs need only send 1 representative to the meeting; however that person needs to be a decision maker. This meeting will give you all the details or what to expect, it is very important. We will be going over not only production information, but also the finale number that all the performers will participate in.

If you have been selected for the Temecula Mass Choir, the rehearsals will be held Tuesday Nights, starting on August 19th at 7pm at New Covenant Fellowship. You must attend all the rehearsals beginning by August 26th, if you absolutely cannot, you will need to contact the Mass Choir Directors.
